[SWORN TESTIMONY] Saathoff testified that Clancy had a mental disease or defect, with bipolar II making the most sense to him, but that she retained the capacity to appreciate right from wrong and conform her conduct to law. He interpreted the sequence, absence of detailed voice instructions, lack of witnesses, restaurant and CVS activity, and concealment as evidence of control and planning.
